topic title: A system shut down question. (Solved)

I don't know if it is my imagination or not, but I think that I remember my AntiX 8.5 system shutting down rather quickly. Before my PC would shut down it used to say something about asking all processed to terminate...or something like that. Now it just kind of sits there for 45 sec. or so and waiting for a login and then will shut down. Is this my imagination?
