Greetings from Jaffrey, New Hampshire - home of the second most climbed mountain in the world. Not that I climb it - that's for the touristas.
I am fairly new to Linux - the Microsoft kick-off seminar for Hasta la Vista did it for me. There is something fundamentally wrong in the fact that you need enough hardware to run NASA for an operating system to idle in 3D.
After research, trial and error (many of those) I came to MEPIS. At first it was MEPIS and Ubuntu but MEPIS became my favorite.
Then MEPIS 7 went above and beyond my scrap-heap special PII 400 dual-processor monster-in-it's-time beige box and here I am with AntiX.
Thanks, Anti for keeping us recyclers in the loop.
AntiX just appeals to the minimalist in me and is also furthering my education in Linux. Appreciate and enjoy it.
