Antix on VPS ?

I have a Jessie VPS on which I managed to avoid systemd, I think I pinned it into oblivion... and there were some issues but it was a while ago.

I was wondering if its possible (or even advisable) to"convert" it into an antiX system, mainly to be able to access packages that have been purged of needless systemd dependencies...

I'd be interested to hear peoples experiences adding antiX repos (and presumably doing dist-upgrade?? needed?) on a normal system but especially on a VPS (openvz) system.

On my particular VPS a clean"install" consists of selecting one of a number of base"images" nearest thing seems to be a minimal Jessie image, but ideally I'd like to just carry on uninterrupted with my existing setup.

I don't know about"coverting" to an antiX system, but you might be able to simply use the antix"nosystemd" repo if you want access to such packages.

would this need a dist-upgrade ?

have you done this before on a jessie system?

is the above line a replacement for just the debian repo's ?

thx

I haven't done it. That line would be in addition to the Jessie repos not a replacement.
