Just wanted to say hello to all the friends of AntiX!

I had first contact with AntiX about 2 years ago. I didn't have much experience with linux, so I preferred larger desktop-environments at that time.
now my experience with linux has grown a bit, so I rediscovered AntiX and I really love it!
A rolling distro based on debian testing combined with the nice little WMs fluxbox and icewm is exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks @anticapitalista for fitting a linux-distro to my needs! __{{emoticon}}__

Adding compiz to AntiX was pretty easy, however I have one small problem, but I'll open a new thead for this one.

Let's have fun with AntiX! __{{emoticon}}__

Howdy and Welcome. I know you from Mepis.org. I prefer lightweight to KDE. Teaches me more plus I am all thumbs with KDE

anti-X revisited < This is where I am, in my anti-X experience, as well. __{{emoticon}}__

I first discovered anti-X a couple years ago, as it is the best light distro that worked on my ancient Gateway laptop.
Said laptop only had 182Mb of RAM.

I recently upgraded the RAM on this old laptop from 182Mb to 2 Gb. Doesn't even act like the same machine.
And now, that I have the new anti-X M11 installed ... it has become my 'new' laptop.

I am still an Xfce fanatic ... except that, now I have Xfce installed in anti-X. __{{emoticon}}__
