Hi, this message is for the administrators. I read this forum and it seems to be not enough about an argument : the software.

Can you open a session named"Best software for ..." ?

In this session any user can suggest or ask for a software, including the help for the installation, problems, troubles and so on ...

For example, as a new antix user coming from windows, I would like to ask if there is a software like Irfan view for antix, or any other best suggestion for that kind of software...

What's your opinion about ?

I don't care one way or the other really. I am a kinda of a laid back moderator. What ever trips everybody’s trigger on the team and forum. I am flexible like that.
You should wait for others to reply. Hence my original reply. Besides, Most lifeforms do not care what I think anyways,

Just to remind everyone though. Our motto is"lean, Mean, and can run on old machines".

Not,"Like Windows".
I would like to ask if there is a software like Irfan view for antix, or any other best suggestion for that kind of software.

Just so you see, we are a small of team and only have so many hours available to us for us to help others,
So we point others to sites that already cover questions asked.

I think it is just best for people to post in the New Users and General Questions forum.

New Users and General Questions forum is the most crowded of all sections, can you consider a section General/Software, near to General/Hardware ?

Software is important, it makes a system usefull and helps to feel the right feeling with your computer

I'll do that but I don't expect it will make much difference.
