Having managed to get my AntiX installation to boot, I now can't login!

If it prompted me to create a user/password when installing, I'm pretty sure of what I would have used but that's not working. I can drop to a terminal with Ctrl-Alt+F2 and login as root/root from there, so is there somewhere I can look to at least see what username I used when installing?

Use mc (midnight commander) and navigate to home
