Just posted my newest antiX theme at kde-look.org. I realize this wallpaper is probably of the"love it or hate it" variety so a note of explanation.

The Da Vinci theme is different but my personal favorite so far because the theme reflects one of my interests...wood working. I like everything about wood...the variety in color and grain, the smell, the texture, the color. But I especially like aged wood with all its character and color subtleties.

I started the wallpaper and quickly saw a wood pattern developing. The wallpaper is not unlike a rich warm burl with curly grain. My inspiration was the aged color and patina bordering Leonardo Da Vinci's painting known as"La Scapagliata"(1508)...a young woman with mussed hair. The original plan was to use the border as inspiration but not her face. As I progressed I discovered I didn't mind her looking at my work. Her expression is calming and for being just shy of 500, she's holding up pretty well.

The transparency of fluxbox allows the"wood grain" to softly reflect through the window labels and adds that subtle patina. I hope some of you enjoy this theme as much as I did creating it. Even if the wallpaper does not suit your personal tastes I'm sure you will enjoy and use the Oaken style.

The theme includes a conky config, the Oaken style, and the Da Vinci wallpaper in 1024x768, 1280x960, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200.

Edit: Realized I didn't have a download link here.
