Hello again,

is there a good free tool at AntiX which is connecting to my dyndns account automatic always and update my IP at the dyndns account? I tried it with ddclient but it doesn´t update it automatic and I don´t want to open my browser always for updating my ip.

Do you have an idea for me? Is it possible to install it over ssh (terminal)?

I tried it again with ddclient, it connects to the dyn server and shows message"is connected" but it doesn´t update the IP of my network at the dyn dns server. Why that? If I do it manual over web browser it works. How could I let do this automatic by a software.

With ddclient I don´t get it.

Anyone idea?

Seems not to be a Linux problem. It is their server. Their rules. No?

Hmm I have contacted the dyn dns provider, maybe they can help me. If it doesn´t work with this provider, I will try another free provider for dns.

@Andreas, I used a piece of software named inadyn for the stated purpose in the past successfully, you might look it up. HTH...
