The emelFM2 site points to the debian site but no luck finding the .deb for it.
I'm sure damn small linux uses it(emelFm 1.2) but dsl uses woody repositories. (i think)
I only have luck using debs

i'll look into:
gnome-commander ,tux-commander and gentoo
i like mc but emelFM handles better for me.
The funny thing is i always dislike it in dsl?

Hi harii. __{{emoticon}}__

Wouldn't you be better off just D/L'ing the source from the main site & compiling it yourself? It lists all the deps etc, so shouldn't be too much hassle. (Which is easy for me to say of course, as it's been AGES since i compiled anything at all.... i think i'll have to start from scratch again!! .... Sigh!) __{{emoticon}}__

I never had any luck compiling.
might try again -- too bad they didn't have an app or script for that.

have you tried xfe? It's in the repos.

I've tried installing the .deb for emelfm twice. Both times it installed successfully, but the icon set was custom and incomplete. (That's why I suggest xfe - it's similar and very powerful.)

I found an deb --i don't where i found it.
Works real well, emelfm2 is way different than the 1.2 one.
I can work(play) much faster.
xfe is real nice too but i wanted something different.
