I have an old Toshiba Cel M 128 MB RAM and I was looking for system to use on it. I tried Puppy Linux - ok for a while but xorg crashes later for unknown reason. I tried PCLOS - no support for wifi (Sweex USB)... same with Xubuntu etc. Antix works from the box. Thank you very much. I needed multilingual support and with my limited knowledge about software it was easiest to reconfigure Antix with limited gnome - it rocks!
Haevy Antix (from base up) works well in English, Polish, Maltese... it uses Pidgin, Skype, Ekiga with video, fantastic audio, firefox and epiphany and ...
it recognised all partitions with even XP - grub works... in short no problem.
I even don't see much diference in speed between fluxbox and gnome ...
Best regards!

Welcome to antiX Poltiser.

Glad you have got antiX working for you so well on an old box and in several languages.
Where are you from,if you don't mind me asking, as I need some help with basic translation of the antiX home page.
