I forget!... my laptop is an IBM thinkpad 770z (PII 400mhz / ram 128mb / hd 10gb)

have you tried any of the cheatcodes when you boot the cd,
on anitX 8.0 when grub comes up go to antiX Extra Options and see if any of those will boot.

Did you burn at low speed? ie x4?
On very old laptops, any minor hiccup in a burn could lead to boot problems.

I tried to boot it in debug and i have the same trouble.
The disc was burned at 4x, and i can boot it in a P4 PC succesfully
Any other idea? __{{emoticon}}__
