I'm still using Antix 6.5 on my hold Pentium III notebook and it flyes !

Now I'm waiting for Antix M7 stable ! I have tried RC1 and oldest releases.
It work good ! But I prefer the old antix 6.5 look and the old X login manager, but is not a big problem.... __{{emoticon}}__

For my later post regarding the Complete Fair Scheduler I think that is the default in the new kernel, please type:

dmesg | grep sched

and with the kernel parameter: ELEVATOR, You can change switch to deadline scheduler ....

antiX-M7 has the old Spartacus wallpaper and fluxbox styles config if you prefer.
At the moment I'm working on a custom i586 kernel for antiX-M7 so k5/k6 processors will boot (at the moment they can't).

Thanks for the information about Complete Fair Scheduler. I'd never even heard of it!
