The persistence stuff that is in this latest antiX version
can easily be ported to MEPIS as BitJam made it that way.
We might need to persuade Warren to use it though.
That where one month ago. Has Warren indicated that he approve of it?
Would be nice to know or where to find his view. I hope he does approve.

I don't want to join Mepis forum just to ask this one question.

Not yet. The latest antiX-Test2 is a test release so there will be bugs, issues eg now with the antiX repositories.

When we get it all fixed, we'll let MEPIS know.

No hurry, better to iron out any hiding bugs so that get taken care of.
Sadly I am too lazy to take part in that testing. I wish you all the best.
Very happy that you guys did not give up on it and that it turned out this well.
Not as easy as on Knoppix but sooner or later that get accomplished too.
