Good morning all!

First time doing this, so I rather play it safe and ask how to do this properly. I'm trying to change the default boot in grub to boot into the liquorix kernel (2.6.35) and I'm not sure how. Here is my current menu.lst:

timeout 10
color cyan/blue white/blue
foreground ffffff
background 0639a1

gfxmenu /boot/grub/message

title antiX at sda2, kernel 2.6.32-1-mepis

kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-1-mepis root=/dev/sda2 nomce quiet nosplash vga=normal acpi_osi=Linux lean
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.32-1-mepis

Can anyone assist by providing the instructions on how to set the Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.35-5.dmz.1-liquorix-686 as the default boot option? TIA!

Move this

Code: Select all

title Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.35-5.dmz.1-liquorix-686
root (hd0,1)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.35-5.dmz.1-liquorix-686 root=UUID=e293d5f6-20bb-469a-8a91-7b73fb64764d ro nosplash quiet acpi_osi=Linux
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.35-5.dmz.1-liquorix-686
to above the first title antiX at sda2, kernel 2.6.32-1-mepis entry and below the gfxmenu /boot/grub/message.

You can also change the title if you wish.
