I like it, impuwat. The"power colors" make a cool wallpaper. Good work.

Decided to stretch myself and try something new. Just posted this theme for download for anyone that wants to use the wallpaper, style, conky, or any parts thereof.
Go to:

I like the set up impuwat.
I actually prefer the wallpaper in the first shot. Any chance of a link to it for download.
Cheers

Go to the following link to download wallpaper similar to that in the upper screenshot:
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://www.mediafire.com/?8wmx7zdt3jm"
linktext was:"http://www.mediafire.com/?8wmx7zdt3jm"
====================================
The wallpaper is in a variety of sizes. Each wallpaper size has two choices of emblem...large or small. I moved the emblem away from the toolbar a skosh more and added a touch of color to"ANTIX LYSISTRATA". I could leave it silver if you like that better.

Hey impuwat,
I know it's an old thread, but I caught the bug for this wallpaper from anti's rox desktop. Here:
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"antix.freeforu ms.org/rox-desktop-and-antix-t411.html"
linktext was:"antix.freeforu ms.org/rox-desktop ... -t411.html"
====================================
So what about getting"Spartacus" versions of great wallpaper featuring"Lysistrata"? Maybe with a slightly different color theme: blood red for Lysistrata, icy or cobalt blue for Spartacus?
(Surely I'm not the only one with at least one box running Spartacus... Could I get a Spartacus version if I do a poll to see how many still run it?)
BTW impuwat: I haven't heard the expression"a skosh" since I hung out with ex-pats in Japan in the early 80's...

I might be able to see what I can whip up....if I can remember how I created the original. Some times I don't keep very good notes on how I arrived at the end result. I'm assuming in 1024x768?
Things are a little behind the times in Idaho, and I prefer the simpler life. Didn't know my expression was 20-30 years old though. __{{emoticon}}__

No prob if you've lost the link. It's probably a good reason for me to switch this laptop over to Lysistrata, like my desktop. But frankly, I've got such an elegant setup of Sparatacus that I can't bear to tinker with it...
Edit: About"skosh"...as the anglicized form of"sukoshi" (Japanese for"a little bit") I'd thought it was a code word for those of us who'd done time in the salt mines of Japanese English language schools. So anytime I've heard it, it's meant I'd found a compadre. Kind of like Viet Nam vets peppering their language with Vietnamized French, or like Christians drawing fish in the dust. I guess it's now part of the American lingo...

Give me a few days and I will see if I can whip up the wallpaper.
I have a Dell laptop running Spartacus that is so perfect I've left it alone as well. It's the computer I keep the important stuff on.

Yes, ditto with my Dell. It's a P3 Latitude with 512MB RAM. Kind of old, but Spartacus just sings on it. And I've had none of the glitches with video, sound, or dial-up. Everything just works, and a lot of KDE apps install easily. So why monkey with it?

Ok malanrich...finally got it done. Sorry for the delay. Unexpected things popped up and slowed me down. Is this what you were thinking of?
