I need to have glibc available but can't work out what package to install.

Any ideas?

Already got that installed. Actually trying to install google gears

glibc has been replaced by eglibc

I don't show that installed but I do show glibc but only when I"man glibc". I can't get a version otherwise.

I wrote to Cooliris to say they shouldn't throw a"your browser is not supported" at us at their home page and at first they acknowledged it but on a second thought they reaffirmed that Iceweasel wasn't supported. Even if actually it would be a minimal work to check the compatibility to its versions, I think.
