In response to the many helpful comments and suggests here and in the Mepis forums, I'm working on enabling LiveCD persistence OOTB for antiX-14. I've attached a screenshot (625 pixels wide) showing an early version of what this looks like. The user needs to select which device they will use for persistence and if the persistence files don't exist on that device then we create them.

I hope to make a new live-initrd available either later today or tomorrow that people can use to test this and all the other live-initrd fixes and features that are planned for the next iteration of antiX-14.

I have a class 10 SD flash card and I still have to figure out how developer mode works on these chromebooks yet.
Selling the IBM A22M is tied in with this chromebook purchase.
I just am not getting anywhere on selling the A22M with XP and a wireless card in my town.

Anyhows. I will make me a 4gig pendrive of ChromeOS backup image first before trying and seeing if I can brick or hack
this new netbook (new for me).
