I installed antiX-M11 on my hard drive. All went fine, but when i start the computer I get only to the the screen of login manager. When I login the system accepts the login name and password, goes to text mode and then after about 20 seconds returns to the login screen. What has gone wrong?

When choosing the last option in the grub menu I can login in text mode.

My laptop is old Pentium III Dell Inspiron 8000.

Did you save old home?

Copy /etc/skel/.xinitrc to /home/username/.xinitrc

Also make sure you have enough space.

Copying /etc/skel/.xinitrc did help. Now antiX runs fine in my laptop. Thanks a lot!
