hey everybody,
i saw how you people were making wallpapers with gimp and wanted to try it out myself.
so i installed gimp and messed around a bit and created my first wallpaper!
it isn't much and i am definetly not an artist but i'm planning to learn more about gimp so i mess around some more and just enjoy making wallpapers since it's fun to do so with gimp.
anyway, here it is:

like i said it's really easy:
after you started gimp make a new file of 1600x1200
choose a background color you like (the standard black is always nice) and bucket fill your future wallpaper.
then go to filters->render->nature->flame.
then click edit and choose one you like, if there is no one you like just click randomize.
then go to camera and zoom in or out to fit it to your liking. click ok and wait.
then go to colors->colorize and edit it to what youb like and done! you've got an abstract wallpaper!
