I don't use nor recommend midori but, FYI:

you can download midori deb file from

(choose appropriate for your system {i386 or amd64} midori_0.5.11-ds1-4_* )
and use the"gdebi" utility to install the debfile.

I installed midori_0.5.12~wk2-exp1_i386.deb
I had to use:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get -f install

but flash does not work

I checked 0.5.12 via gdebi prior to posting. It reported 'cannot be installed due to unmet dependencies'.
That's why I pointed you to 0.5.11 ~~ gdebi indicated it would install without problems.

I can't guess whether you've introduced problems by -f force installing, or whether midori flash is just flaky in general.
google search:
flash midori
