just wanted to say hello. i have"played" around with other flavors of linux and this one i can manipulate. thanks much to the developers. antix works like other flavors of linux say they work, but don't really. at least i couldn't make them do what i can with antix.

anyway, i'm having more fun than a human being ought to have with my new found os.

a bit about me. i have a bachelor of fine arts degree (woooo!), so i make"art"; graphic design; photography (pro since 1976) and teach. i speak a little"mac" and more"windows" (sp?).

i have some questions about the os, but another time and place.

nice to be here.

later.

Hi, kdd.
Which linux"art" apps are you using?
Two of my faves are mypaint (
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://www.mypaint.org"
linktext was:"http://www.mypaint.org"
====================================
) (available from debian repositories)
and alchemy (

url was:"http://al.chemy.org"
linktext was:"http://al.chemy.org"
====================================
)

BTW, if you teach art and care to pass the good word to your students, both the above are portable / cross-platform programs.
