Hallo everybody!

I had no (real) Problems up to now. But I think this one is easy to solve to even if I have no Idea how. __{{emoticon}}__
Before the last 'apt-get upgrade' umtsmon worked just fine but now I get an error massage as soon as I klick on 'connect with default Profile'. The Profile hasn't changed. Everything looks like it should. If I start 'umtsmon -v4' PPPstoud looks like this:

Code: Select all

I can't find an error? So what is the problem? By running umtsmon -v5 the terminal says (only a section):

Code: Select all

##P3 t=394: ConnectionBaseClass::setNewPPPState state 1 to 4
##P2 t=394: UIState::newConnectionState(4) callback called
##P2 t=394:

UIState::setState(6 -> 8)

##P3 t=394: ConnectionBaseClass::setNewPPPState state 4 to 0
##P2 t=394: UIState::newConnectionState(0) callback called
##P2 t=394:

##P2 t=395: ***UIState::update(void), state=5
##P5 t=395: mainwindow::updateNetworkData()
##P5 t=395: The PPPDState is 0
The last part is repeating permanent. Thats correct but what is the meaning of '(void)' behind two of the ConnectionInfos?
And if I try to connect again after this error I get this:

Code: Select all

UIState::setState(5 -> 5)
##P3 t=257: thread end - wait and cleanup
##P2 t=257: ~PPPThread()
##P4 t=257: ConnectionInfo:InhibitionCount --, now is 0
##P2 t=257: ***UIState::update(void), state=5

Thanks for your Help!

I don't know the answer to your problem, I'm afraid, but this app may well be worth installing.

umts-panel2 gui

Download from here and do an apt-get -f install to get the rest of the dependencies.

Works! Great! Thanks! Admittedly I can't find differences in the configuration between umtsmon and umts-panel but I guess thats equal now __{{emoticon}}__
