Bien le bonjour ^^,

Nouvel utilisateur convaincu de Linux, je suis entrain de de réanimer quelques ordinosaures avec différentes distributions... je tente actuellement de lazariser un p1 avec très peu de...tout (actuellement windows 95 tourne dessus. J'ai découvert récemment antix et je pense que c'est la bonne solution. J'ai donc gravé un cd d'install full... Mai au Boot ça failed, j'ai ensuite gravé un cd d'install"core" mais le résultat est identique (le bios est bien configuré pour démarrer sur le cd-rom). Que puis-fe faire de plus ?

Actually i don t know, i have to check that. I will do it tomorrow (that computosaure is at my office)

Only 32 mb Ram __{{emoticon}}__ , not so much isn't it ? and 1,2 gb HDD

Do you think it s possible ?

I tried this with antiX-8.5 version AntiX-core-486-19June2010.
Checkout my AntiX12 on 'antique' hardware thread in the antix-12 Edelweispirate section, where I had left some links which will take you to my experiences with ‘really old hardware’, if you want to read them.
Maybe installing onto your HDD using another machine, then swapping it back into the P1 would work. You’re going to stuck with cli apps if it works at all with only 32 M ram and such a small HDD. As has been mentioned elsewhere, don’t expect miracles.
