Hey all, I joined a long time time ago but stayed sidetracked with Mepis and was not much of a participant. Recently however I've taken AntiX 11 for a drive on several old machines @ 933mhz & 1.4ghz with low ram and whoa am I impressed!. For the first time in several years of using Mepis I'm considering replacing Mepis 11 with AntiX 11 on my main system. I'm going to continue getting accustomed to it on the old machines first but pretty certain I'll be making the switch soon and becoming more active here. By the way I'm JBoman on the Mepis forum so I probably have come to know many folks here already. Till later, __{{emoticon}}__

Hello!

I also know you from Mepis.

I have recently installed antiX M11 and liked it so much that I intend to keep it, thus I joined the forum.

Still ignore much of both antiX and Mepis, though. __{{emoticon}}__

ignore? Whoops don't you mean adore? __{{emoticon}}__

Welcome to cowonjolt/JBoman. I remember our discussions back when antiX-M8.2 was released over the distro name.

@Anticapitalista,

I mean there's a lot I still don't know about Mepis and antiX; if I'm a newbie at Mepis, I'm a super-newbie at antiX! __{{emoticon}}__

But as you said, they both have a lot for me to adore them. __{{emoticon}}__
