anti - I know you feel that rox + fluxbox = antix; however, it seems that only the filer is truly used in antix. Why not enable the pinboard by default and put a modest amount of icons on the desktop? I know icons aren't popular with some users, but this way you'll get more mileage out of rox. Heck, you may even want to install roxsession and get a fairly decent session manager as well.

BTW - Is there a way to use the pinboard and conky?

I'll try it out on the next beta and see what sort of feedback I get.

I have got conky to work with rox-desktop, but only in a terminal. Doesn't look too nice.
antiX also has idesk installed, though I think it is pretty ugly, but at least it keeps the original conky setup on the desktop.

If anyone's interested we've just started a ROX thread

over at the Ubuntu Forums. I love the ROX filer & Term, but i'm still struggling to get my head around a lot of it, so hopefully this thread will help. __{{emoticon}}__

Feel free to contribute, the more the merrier, and all that we share & learn can be applied to antiX (if so desired) also.... COOL!! __{{emoticon}}__

Here is some info on idesk. It looks simple enough to set up though I never tried it. I don't use icons on my desktop.
