I am very excited. I decided to see if I could get my AMD2500 back up after fiddling with this damn Dell that .. (nevermind that Dell)... Well I changed the Motherboard battery after a friend said to try that.. it fired right back up, except the agp card seemsto not work. So I disassembled the Dell, removed its pci video card and WOOHOO!!! A real PC again!!! antiX 8 looks so good!! How do I take a screen shot, though? I used the X Window Snapshot to take it, but how do you save it?

I got like a million things going.

Anyway... this is great news for me.. that old Dell is going in the garage. __{{emoticon}}__

Anticapitalista and the antiX team, this looks beauty, thanks for all the hard work here.. woohoo.. __{{emoticon}}__

I seem to remember that it is saved automatically in your /home/username directory.

You should have"screenshot" in the menu and it does save to your /home.

Strange? I just started test2 in VB and"screenshot" is the fourth choice down in the IceWM menu.

Using fluxbox for me, it's the 4th choice from the bottom and it does work.

I found it right in the menu, right on top. The one I tried at first was under applications/applications/graphics/x window screenshot. Well any here it is.

Why not use the screenshot option in the menu instead?

But this is not the question. I know the other option but I'm also interested in a solution for the other type of screenshot...or it should be removed from the distro.

shows how to use it.

To save the file, you would need to edit /etc/X11/fluxbox/fluxbox-menu and/or the icewm one.
