Fresh install of m7-final. When I try to open synatic, edit sources.list. fluxbox-menu edit, conky I get"segmentation fault". I have no idea what to do with this one.

EDIT: I reburned the disc at 4x and reinstalled. All works now.

Glad that got solved as I wouldn't have known where to begin with that one.

Maybe I should post a note somewhere suggesting that the iso is burned to cd at very low speed, as the compression used in antiX is very high and 'margins of error' when burning, is narrow. Also many users will be installing to old boxes using (probably) old, slow and relatively speaking less reliable cd readers, so errors are more likely to happen when installing.

I don't know what the original speed was set to (probably max) but when I set it to 4x it went smooth.

Suggestion:

Maybe a how-to section in the forum. Users could post as well as use for reference.
