This app might be interesting to those of you living the text-only lifestyle, and also for those that just want something light and fast.

ncurses based calendar and to-do app. Supposedly it exports in ical format. I haven't tried it yet, but I saw the link on lifehacker and thought I would share.

I've been using calcurse for quite some time (even before 8.5) and I'm very pleased with it.
