I have installed the antiX and wireless card working and can surf the internet.

I installed and updated package including samba. How do I access home network from my antiX computer to my main desktop running XP? Just looking at the"home" file icon, can't figure out how to access the XP machine.

On 7, I also installed fuse and fusesmb, then ran fuse on start up, and mounted the network shares using rox. However, I haven't done this lately, and I thought that for awhile a fuse update wasn't working, so I hope someone else gets back to you on this.

The how-to on accessing network shares is still valid. However, due to a bug in smbclient it can be a little flakey when connecting. Sometimes it won't connect and other times the mount point will vanish and you will not be able to access the shares.
