Just wanted to tell you that I'm running Antix 8 on my eee pc (one of the original, small-screen ones), booting off a 4 GB SD card, and it works very well. Notably wifi with the Atheros chip, which has been a problem for most linuxes up till now.

So far I'm using icewm, though I use fluxbox on the other two pc's where I have Antix (7.2). I'm getting used to it, now that I think I've figured out how to put in some keyboard shortcuts.

Thanks again. When you set up contributions I'll send one.

What did you do and was there anything special you need to install on the eee? Maybe you can add to the eee post that already exist.

As far as contributions, I'm sure anti will take a serious look at anything offered.

hmm, gotta take the Big Step and get it onto the SSD then.
All extra stuff eats battery power..
