Try as root :
X -configure
cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Change:
Driver modesetting
To:
Driver intel
In all instances.
Save
service lightdm restart

Installed screenshot-antix this morning.
Run it, screen went black , re-logged in , as it showed up, background was gone and of coarse conky and everything else where all shutdown.
