lagopus, thanks fixed the French and almost fixed Catalan (has the same 'problem' as French with the ')

Problem with Catalan is that the title of antiX control centre is Centre de Control d'antiX
but neither of these work

Code: Select all

LABEL="Centre de Control d'antiX"

<window title='$LABEL' icon="gnome-control-center" window-position="1">
or
<window title="$LABEL" icon="gnome-control-center" window-position="1">
Any ideas?

this works for catalan :

Code: Select all

<window title="Centre de control d'"'"' icon="gnome-control-center" window-position="1">
the shell assigns to ControlCenter the string up to the quote following d, then appends the double-quoted single quote, then adds the remaining lines form 'icon up to the ending '
but french:

Code: Select all

<window title="Centre de contrôle d'"'"' icon="gnome-control-center" window-position="1">
does not work ( title truncated before 'ô', gives 'Centre de contr' ) !!!

So far the best I can come up with is

<window title="Centre de Control d`antiX" icon="gnome-control-center" window-position="1">

I tried an escape character, but that didn't seem to work. I'll need to look into it.

For French still need, if possible, one or two word commands, eg is Verrouiller and Arrêter ok on its own?

Lock Screen=
Hibernate=Mettre en veille
Reboot=Redémarrer
Log Out=Fermer la session
Suspend=Verrouiller la session
Shutdown=Arrêter le système

Start firehol=
Stop firehol=
Restart firehol=
Configure firehol=

So far antiX has full antiX control centre and logout dialogue complete in Dutch,
Spanish, German, Romanian and Catalan. French is 99% there and Greek about 75%.

Other languages more than welcome.

Thanks lagopus and thanks Hannes Worst.

Actually, there is a translated Dutch version here:

========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://www.mepislovers.org/forums/showthread.php?t=19525"
linktext was:"http://www.mepislovers.org/forums/showt ... hp?t=19525"
====================================
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false

What do you think? There are some differences.

Thanks

Hello Anti,

it seems that in Ko's Dutch translation a lot of words remain untranslated. I've chosen known dutch equivalents. I use them in the control-centre of Antix on my computer. Makes me feel more at home ... __{{emoticon}}__

Good luck with the further development of Antix.

Greetings!

Thanks Hannes Worst.

Dutch translation modified and complete.

Thanks to all once again and if you want antiX control centre in your language,

Oh, there you are! __{{emoticon}}__
Here's Polish translation for the exit box. CC will follow shortly.

Lock Screen= Zablokuj ekran
Hibernate= Hibernuj
Reboot= Uruchom ponownie
Log Out= Wyloguj
Suspend= Uśpij
Shutdown= Wyłącz

Just two questions:
1. Where do I find the stuff from the localizing script in english (original)?
2. Also, how can I install Antix Control Center on pure Debian (testing), to see what things look like?

Cheers __{{emoticon}}__

Thanks Vipe.

1. The original antiXcc file is in /usr/local/bin. It is a sh script using gkdiaog.
The translated versions are (will be) also in /usr/locla/bin

2. You can install the antiXcc scripts from here:

========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://www.mepisimo.com/antix/antiX-upgrader7.5-8.0/"
linktext was:"http://www.mepisimo.com/antix/antiX-upgrader7.5-8.0/"
====================================
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false

You need antiX2.tgz, extract, make executable and put in /usr/local/bin and nouveXT-drake.tgz to go in /usr/share/icons.
